I bought this July 2019 to keep as my own, to use as an occasional tow wagon plus it's always useful to have a 7 seater around. I used to run a 6.8 V10 Ford Excursion for years and the nearest vehicle in right hand drive is a 4.6 V8 Ford Explorer but after buying the largest tow bar available for it from the states, and fitting it, I unfortunately realised that it's 5,000lb max tow capacity isn't legally high enough for my 3.5 ton trailer. Around the same time I bought a V8 Range Rover, which has cost a small fortune to get everything working correctly, which is legally allowed to tow 3.5 tons. With the restrictions of lockdown I've not used either vehicle this year, even before lockdown I only used the Explorer 2 or 3 times locally since buying it, so relunctantly I've decided to sell the Explorer and keep the RR, as I doubt I'd even get my money back if I tried to sell that. If I need a 7 seater I've normally got 1 or 2 in stock anyway and it seems a waste having two large V8 petrol 4x4s sitting around not being used. Manufactured in USA in Sept 2003 for the Japanese market but is a 2004 model and due to the time to ship to Japan was probably not 1st registered/used until 2004. £7495 for part exchange, no px £6995 Deposit taken, consider sold.
